VISION

To be a united Christian Fellowship, that seeks to serve and bear witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

MISSION

As the UPWF, we exist to uphold the values and give effect to the priorities of the UPCSA by :
  • Providing support to the UPCSA through Evangelism, Stewardship, Health, wellbeing and securing justice and engaging in reconciliation and unity.
  • Proclaiming Christ as the Saviour and Centre of life of UPWF members.
  • Promoting financial viability of UPWF members in order to improve their socio economic status.
  • Building the capacity of women to fulfill the leadership positions in the church, UPWF and in broader society

In our activities we are guided by the following objectives:
  • Strengthen and deepen the Christian Fellowship through reading  and study of the bible, through rendering prayer  and conducting regular worship.
  • To put faith into action by living good and exemplary lives in accordance to Christian values.
  • To be channels of God’s love in the world by reaching out to those who are less fortunate, are in need and distressed.
  • To empower women by promoting self-worth, confidence and self assertiveness in order for them to play a constructive role in Church and society.
  • To train women in leadership thus encouraging and preparing them for participation in church structures.
  • To encourage  interdenominational  cooperation  both in work and prayer
  • To give support to other church projects as identified by members of the  fellowship geared  at improving  both the faith  and the lives of people.
